Returns
Returning products at the end of the rental period
When your rental period is over, pop the items you rented, and the hanger that came with them, back in the same garment bag you received them in. The package also includes a prepaid return label – make sure you insert it in the plastic pocket on the outside of the bag. Then, by the deadline, take the garment bag to the same service point where you collected your parcel. You’ll find the deadline for returning the product(s) in the instructions that came with the delivery. Returns are always free.
The rented products must be returned by the deadline on the day that the rental period ends. After the expiry of the rental period, for any unreturned products you will be charged the product’s rental rate per day according to the price list. If the return is delayed by more than 24 hours and the amount of the late fee exceeds the recommended retail price of the product, The Ateljé Helsinki Oy has the right to charge a late fee that is at maximum the recommended retail price of the product.
Right of return under the Consumer Protection Act
The Ateljé Helsinki Oy offers its customers a 14-day right of return under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. The 14-day right-of-return period starts from the day you take possession of the product.
The 14-day right-of-return period applies only to unused products. Product(s) that are returned, or product(s) you wish to make a complaint about, must be unused. Additionally, products must be returned in their original packaging and the packaging must also be in its original condition. Tights (or pantyhose) are considered intimate products, which is why their packaging must be unopened when returned. In the case of rental products, the seal must still be attached to the product(s). If you want to return or exchange a product you have ordered, please always contact our customer service team first at [email protected] or by phone at +358 40 614 7688.
Make sure to keep all the documents related to the return until we have informed you that we have received your return and are processing it. We will pay the refundable amount primarily through the payment service you used when renting the product(s). The processing time for a refund is approximately 7 working days.
Please note that failure to collect your order is not a cancellation of your order. We will charge the customer for the realised postage and handling costs incurred for orders not collected within the storage period. If you want to cancel your order before your rental period starts, please see Cancelling an order.
If a product you have ordered is lost or damaged in transit, you must notify The Ateljé Helsinki Oy’s customer service team about it within 24 hours.
Rentals that get damaged or are not returned
If a product is damaged beyond repair during the rental period or is never returned, The Ateljé Helsinki Oy has the right to charge the customer the recommended retail price of the product. Complaints are always dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
